RescueMyCar.com’s breakdown recovery and breakdown insurance cover has been highlighted as one of the best value policies by one of the UK’s biggest price comparison site – MoneySupermarket.com.

In a comparison with some of the biggest and most recognised breakdown recovery firms, such as the AA and RAC, it was RescueMyCar.com that was picked out by the company’s head of insurance, Richard Mason as offering the best value.

In an interview with The Times he said: "People think the only places they can go (for breakdown recovery cover) are the RAC and the AA, which both charge over £100 a year. They don't realise you can get very similar cover for a lot less from smaller companies. They shouldn't think these firms just have one old van."

He then went on to mention RescueMyCar.com’s average 40 minute breakdown recovery response time for the UK and the fact that we create car breakdown policies based on the individual rather than just using a broad brush approach to calculating the cost of breakdown recovery.
