A recent study by DrivenData has shown that car prices have risen considerably when bought brand new. New cars now retail at an additional £1,056 and have been steadily increasing since July 2010. With average new car prices making an annual change of +3.9%, the average car price (to buy as new) is now around £28,147.
It’s not all doom and gloom though as there are so many new and exciting automobiles set to hit the road in 2012 – we assure you that it’ll be worth the wait. September 2012 Introduces the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 that is sure to make the Porsche Cayenne Turbo run for its money. Ford will also be releasing its 1.6 litre Focus ST in autumn, with better suspension tuning and 17-inch wheels. 2012 also sees the new generation of Mini – the Mini Paceman.
