The ACEA’s secretary, Ivan Hodac noted that changing Europe’s electric car charging standards would “pave the way for a harmonised solution around the globe.” Thankfully, the European motor industry agrees that there should be one standard charging system for all electric vehicles which would actually attract more people into buying an eco-friendly car.
