There is only a few days to go until the start of the very first Tour de Yorkshire. It all kicks off in Bridlington on Friday 1st May 2015 and will pass through beautiful coastal scenery and the stunning North Yorkshire Moors. Stage one also takes in sights such as Dalby Forest, Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay before the sprint finish along the Scarborough seafront.

Stage two starts in Selby on Saturday the 2nd May 2015  and travels to York and is one for the sprinters. It will begin in front of the impressive Selby Abbey and head towards the East Yorkshire Wolds and Beverley, following this a circuit of historic York, promising a dramatic finish.

Then to finish the tour, stage three goes from Wakefield to Leeds covering a distance of 167 km. After leaving wakefield town centre and passing Newmiller Damn en route to Barnsley, South Yorkshire with 6 brutul climbs, including the Cow and Calf in Ilkley, before the finale in Roundhay Park, Leeds.
