As our most premium level of breakdown cover, RMC Comprehensive offers complete roadside protection. Whether doing the daily commute or out with the family, it’s our aim to make sure we are there for you when it matters most.

We’ll get a local recovery specialist straight to you
If they can, they’ll fix your vehicle there and then
If your vehicle can’t be fixed on the roadside, it’ll be recovered, taking you and up to 6 passengers home or to an onward destination – your choice!
And we don’t stop there!
- If needed, we’ll contribute up to £250 towards alternative travel, or £150 per person for accommodation (to a maximum of £500).
- In the unlikely event that your vehicle needs moving a second time, for example if the garage of your choice is closed at the time of recovery, we’ll come back out and move your vehicle.
- While your vehicle is being repaired, we’ll cover the costs of car hire for up to three days, or up to a total of £100, to keep you and your family on the move.

When we say we go further, we mean it
- Flat tyre, but no spare or puncture repair kit? No problem! We’ll still attend the breakdown and recover your vehicle.
- Towing a caravan or trailer that’s broken down? We’ll recover that too, as long as the towing vehicle has RMC Comprehensive cover.
- You’ll receive key cover and legal expenses as standard for when the unexpected happens.
- Run out of fuel, or filled up with the wrong type? Relax, we’ll sort it.
